Summer accsessories

Image
Who doesn't love summer accessories? And in the mid of summer I've collected a few fave gems.  So I thought I should share a few of my most used accessories. So my summer vibe in accessories has been beach life and childhood throwback. Something between fancy and childlike. Bringing hair clips and scrunchies back and mixing it with pearls.  The hair claw is from Monki and it's so cute. They have also one in yellow (yes i bought that too) and it looks so cute. The clips are by gauhair. I think hair claws are perfect for summer. They're easy to style your hair with and it doesn't mush fresh curls. I usually carry one always with me in my bag. The hair lip trend got a big boost this year. It truly has become a statement piece- from glittery bobby pins to pearly hair clips. I've truly enjoyed wearing these. I usually have my hair half up half down and these to spice up the hairdo.  Ah the good ol' scrunchie. These bb's I use daily at work. Becaus

A week in outfits

Last year I did a similar post, if you're interested you can find it here ! I really liked making that post so i thought why not make a 2019 version? Last years version was called "on my way to work"- and well this is the same. I'm not on holiday- working the whole summer. I work as a practical nurse so at work I wear scrubs. Because I can't express  my style at work I like to play with different styles with my day to day ootds. So here are my outfits this week! Monday: Comfort and chic. I chose to wear my capri leggings sneaks and a blazer. I love the mix of a classic piece and a basic legging. Sporty chic should be the keyword for this look.   Blazer, leggings t shirt: Cubus Shoes: Nike Bag: Marimekko Tuesday: I've been watching Stranger things this week so I've been inspired by 80's fashion. The jeans I got from my friend. I really felt super cute in this look. The bun with the scarf and the knit oh my!

Jeans n blazer

Jeans and blazers is one of the  great staple pieces I seem to see on my instagram feed. The jeans and blazer queen Emma Hill inspired this look. But not only her - as you may have noticed if you're following my Pinterest- the 90's was also a big inspo. My personal fave person to take inspo from Julia Roberts seemed to like this style. There's something so cool with the mix of casual jeans and a "fancy" black blazer. To complete the look I wore my big sunnies from Polaroid. I've gotten inspired to wear big sunnies again. I feel like I'm a celeb dodging the paparazzis wearing them. Shoes: Michael Kors Bag: Guess Blazer and jeans: Vintage Top: Marimekko (vintage) Sunnies: Polaroid

A full week only using Jawbreaker

Jeffree Star came out with his summer collection full of colour and unique lipsticks and highlighters. But the thing i totally fell for in his presentation video was the big palette so full  of vibrant shades. So I went trough my makeup collection and found that I didn't own anything like the palette- so I bought it. When I got it I was in full awe- the colours the shimmers the glitters. Everything to fill my summer dream makeup looks. Straight away I knew I wanted to make  a review for you guys but a first impression felt just like it wasn't enough. So I challenged myself to only use the Jawbreaker palette for one week. And that's truly a challenge for me since I always use many palettes for one look. I'd like to add these pictures are not edited to give you a honest look at the shadows.   Day one: I went for a neutral look, and a pop of yellow. The matte brown is stunning. However the yellow I found a little tough to work with. I don't kno
