  Hope you’ve all had a wonderful Christmas! Mine has been mostly resting, as this year’s Christmas been in the middle of the week I’ve had almost a week off work. During that time, I’ve rested, eaten and watched the Crown. There’s nothing really to add, tomorrow back to work as usual and just waiting for the new year to begin.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… or something along those lines. Sustainability has been a big word this year.   We even discussed it with my friends, the consumerism on Christmas has gone too far. So we’ve agreed with my friends not to give Christmas gifts this year. Just to have a good meal and great company, it’s truly enough. However, I do have other people I’ve not made this agreement with. And I do really enjoy give gifts. So this year my gifts are focused on eco and sustainability. So I thought I’d share some eco gift ideas. First up the Jungle Straws. This year plastic straws have really been a hot topic. Plastics are polluting our, as a step to prevent it plastic straws has been banned. So why not get some beautiful metallic straws. The day came, when I finally got to the post office to pick up a VERY exiting package from USA. Finland had a post-strike so  had the palette in customs just waiting for delivery. Meanwhile I was looking at numerous palette reviews. So when the big day was here and I rushed down to the post office at 10am I asked you.... Would you rather have a first impressions post or a full week review. The votes showed what you wanted.... A full week review. But enough of the chit chat- let's get to the review. Here it is in all its glory!!! So first impressions or when I tore the cardboard paper surrounding off the palette. I was in awe. Amazement.. Such a dream palette. For every occasion. And the sequins I wanted to swim in the glitters. But I'm not going to talk that much about the basic facts. I think you've seen all the reviews by now. As you can see the palette in the picture is surrounded by different colours. And they ALL are shades of the palette photographed with flash.

It's the first Advent and finally we got some sun and light in Helsinki. The past weeks has been so dark and gloomy so it's nice seeing the sun again. Alsoooooo! I got it FINALLY my Tati Beauty Palette. Due to the Post strike in Finland I got it a bit late. But oh my how I loved it. Today has actually been the first time wearing it- LOVING it. The sequin shades are magical..... I've gotten inspired to wear midi skirts again. This time the skirt is back but in silky satin and paired with a knit it's a winter dreeaaaaaam.
